District Governors visit

DG's Appeal for Baby Clothes

Roger Mason the District Governor for 2014/15 is currently busy visiting all 71 clubs in the District of Cumbria and Lancashire and meeting as many of their 2000 members as possible. He visited our club on 14th August. He outlined his plans for the coming year and encouraged the club to continue supporting local, national and international charities.
Roger's chosen charity for the year is Aquabox containing a water purification kit. Additionally he is appealing for new or good, used baby clothes (up to 12 months) baby grows, vests, hats, cardigans etc to be sent to the charity. These will be dispatched to disaster areas around the world. Aquabox website provides all the details about their work.
If you would like to donate some clothes please tel: 015242 73166.
